We understand as brides (and grooms), there is a lot of planning involved.
So to better help you, here's a rough guideline as to when to start. But if you don't meet these timelines, not to worry! We can always accommodate some rush jobs.
Save the Dates
Let your guests know early. We recommend sometime between 6-12 months. If you're having an overseas wedding, it's always courteous to let your guest know months in advance so they can book their flights and accommodation.
By this stage, you should have your tentative guest list ready (which we can use again for when you send your real invitations).
Wedding Planning and Invitations
If you happen to be organised and you have your theme all sorted—job well done! If you don't, and you're still trying to figure out if white and bright or dark and moody is the way to go, this is your cue to get some decisions made—and this is where we (hopefully) come in!
It's important to be aware that during peak seasons, a lot of suppliers, be it for hair, makeup, floristry and even stationeries can get quickly booked up, so the quicker the better! If you decide to go with us, we would aim to get your invitations out to you to hand to your guest at least 4 months (latest) prior to your wedding date. This leaves enough room for your R.S.V.P.'s to slowly come through (we understand some people aren't as prompt as others).
Wedding On-The-Day Stationery
Once you have all your R.S.V.P.'s come through, we can work on getting some of your on-the-day stationery sorted. We would ask you to allow at least 1 week to discuss designs and allowing up to 2-3 weeks for printing.
We can design things from place cards, menus, personalised menus, table numbers, seating charts, welcome sign, wishing well sign and more. If you have seen something you would like to get made, don't hesitate to show us.
We understand that the venue of your choice most likely will ask for all your stationery at least 7 days prior to your wedding day. So the sooner you have your guest lists sorted, we can always get a head start with designing the items.
